Continued from “Necklace”
The girls sit side by side at the table in my workroom.
Sarra wants a small green toy in my toy box.
“Green toy? Green toy? Green toy?”
I cue Sarra to keyboard the sentence, "Do you want the green toy Hannah?"
I cue Sarra to push the computer across the table to Hannah.
Hannah keys, " I want the green toy."
“Sarra, you will need to give Hannah the green toy.”
Sarra wasn't thrilled.
Sarra transposes a sentence that is written on a white board, entering it into the computer.
"Can I have the green toy back?"
For the first time this year, Sarra stopped verbally perseverating. She is motivated. She is interested in using the computer.
