At first he ran away, into the studio, saying the motor room 

was a “bad place”.  

We talked about what I am making.  I think he didn’t quite

 believe me when I told him I didn’t know what I was doing 

with this sculpture.  

On the other hand, he went back in the motor room and 

sat on  the swing.  He wouldn’t move it but at least he was on it.

Later he let me move it an inch in each direction.
