N. learns to braze metal today.   


He is tentative about the placement of the rod and torch.  I put a pair of work gloves on and worked hand-over-hand with him.  Funny to see a technique from therapy used for teaching welding.


He is patient despite my intrusion and now is going about it like he’s been brazing for at least a month.  Good.  It’s fine if he gets it a little too hot or not hot enough. 


That’s the learning piece.  It will make this surface, that so reflects our motor inadequacies, lively.
